The position of the new target depends on how you've added it to the diagram :
When using the mouse
- The position of the new target is based on where you've clicked and where the other targets are located. If you want to insert the new one between two adjacent targets, you'll want to click somewhere inbetween them (where exactly isn't important, only the relative position of the click to the other targets is considered).
When using the keyboard
- The position of the new target will be based on the center of the diagram view and where the other targets are located. It probably won't be in the location you want it to be, but you can easily move it to a different location afterwards.
In any case, you can always rearrange the targets if you do not like their ordering by changing the target order. You can even let Trace Modeler optimize the target order based on some heuristics.
After the new target has been added, Trace Modeler will automatically switch to text edit mode so you can immediately edit its label.
