Troubleshooting

Trace Modeler is a cross-platform application and has been tested on various platforms : Win2K, WinXP, Vista, Mac OSX and various Linux distributions.

However, because of the sheer number of possible combinations of operating systems, JRE-implementations and JRE-versions, no guarantees can be made that Trace Modeler will work correctly with all of them.

Should you run into a problem, please contact me and I'll do what I can to get Trace Modeler working on your system.

Please remember to include a description of what you were trying to do when the error occurred. Problems are almost impossible to fix if they cannot be reproduced. So if it is at all possible,

please include the diagram (.trace file) you were working on. It may allow me to reproduce the failure in a controlled setting and determine its cause.
send along a copy of the application log. It will provide me with information about your platform and the Trace Modeler version you're using.
