Add a combined fragment

To add a new combined fragment to the diagram, either

Select one of the targets that should be active during the combined fragment
Open the target context menu
Select the 'Add combined fragment' menu item

Select an activation of a target that should be active during the combined fragment
Open the message context menu
Select the 'Add combined fragment' menu item

The new combined fragment will have the following properties :

it hs an empty operator (no text)
it will contain one operand with an empty guard

The new combined fragment will always be placed to correctly include the control flow, but where exactly depends on how you've added it to the diagram :

With the mouse,

The position of the new combined fragment in the call flow (and thus its location on the diagram) is based on where you've clicked to open the context menu.

With the keyboard,

The position of the new combined fragment in the call flow (and thus its location on the diagram) is based on the center of the selected activation.

You can always move the combined fragment afterwards if you do not like its initial location.

After the combined fragment has been added, Trace Modeler will automatically switch to text edit mode so you can immediately edit its operator.
