This UML sequence diagram is one of the examples included in the Trace Modeler distribution.

It was reproduced with permission from 'Refactoring' by M. Fowler. The diagram style of the book has been matched as closely as possible. Note the hidden empty return arrows and smaller message spacing used in this book.
